Talk to your trainer, nutritionist, instructor, etc. Generally they will tell you to INCREASE your calories if you are ramping up your intensity of exercise. <br /><br />Reducing your calories when building muscle can result in reduced healing time between workouts, which will eventually cause an injury. Match your calories to your intensity.
